Towmate Trailers is a UK based trailer manufacturer in the southeast of
England, in Colchester, Essex. It is a family-run business and has been
trading in the industry since 1995.

BUILT RUGGED
Built from the ground up, all of the company’s trailers have a tough, galvanised
steel frame, symbolising the durability and versatility customers expect from
Towmate Trailers. The modular, signature chassis design provides a flexible base
on which to adapt and build bespoke trailers to suit businesses requirements and
needs.
At the heart of all of its products is a trailer that is designed to provide a pleasant
towing experience. As standard, all trailers have tough steel mudguards, LED dual
voltage lighting and quality running gear built for the tough terrain typical of the
construction, landscaping, and utility industries.
With all trailers, Towmate backs-up the purchase with a standard 3-year warranty
covered by the Pro-Cover service. All the parts that make up the trailers are
common parts stocked by Towmate’s sister company, AlphaParts. This all-in-one
service helps to minimise downtime and cost associated with repairs.
HISTORY
The company started manufacturing trailers in 2017 following the acquisition of a
pipe trailer company. AlphaParts, the trailer parts and spares side of the business,
has been operating for over 26 years, and throughout that time, the company has
learnt a lot about the industry and gathered much expertise and experience with
trailers. In 2019, Towmate started the process of producing and manufacturing its
own Rhino Plant Trailer range, which was launched in September 2020. Following
the success of this launch, it then released the Ram General Duty range in February 2021, followed by the Osprey Rolling Chassis in February 2022.
NO DIG LIVE 2022
After a period of two years, Towmate Trailers is pleased to be attending the NoDig Live show. The company will be exhibiting at the show with some exciting new
products and also showcasing further improvements that its engineering team
has been making on existing ranges.
The Raptor Pipe Trailer will be on show with a new and improved design that
has come about as a result of customer feedback. Featuring steel Towmate
mudguards, and multiple improvements made to make various elements of the
trailer more robust, the new Raptor pipe trailer really embodies the durability that
Towmate Trailers is known for.
The company will also be displaying a brand-new product; its first cable drum
trailer. Based on the signature modular chassis, this product has been in the
making for over 12 months. Following intensive testing and customer feedback,
Towmate is pleased to be showing a prototype at the exhibition. As standard, the
trailer features hardwearing durable LED lights, heavy-duty mudguards, durable
running gear and a 3-year warranty package.
