RIDGID is proud to launch its new MicroReel APX Reel. A very comprehensive reel in a very compact package for pipelines from 40 to at least 100 mm diameter. The reel features 30m of mid-flexible push cable and a 25mm camera head. So far nothing new, but then it adds TruSense APX Technology, a data-enabled technology offering the on-camera inclinometer, ‘TiltSense’, that displays the camera’s pitch inside the pipe and provides HDR ‘High Dynamic Range’ Image quality. What is more is the Digital Automatic Image flip with orientation indication that ensures the image is automatically flipped accompanied by an indicator, so users always know the orientation of the camera inside the pipe and correct side is up on the screen. The Reel includes a handy kickstand that can be placed in two different angles to offer more stability while inspecting.
When users combine the MicroReel APX with a CSx VIA wi-fi streaming device, they have everything they need to do quick look-see inspections in one handy and portable all-in-one solution. The CSx Via is a ‘bring-your-own-screen’ solution and gives users all the crucial features of a SeeSnake Monitor via the HQxLive app into their hands. Use with a smartphone or tablet and share inspection data direct and live to customers or to the office. Users can connect to 10 mobile devices simultaneously.
