The RELINE GRP hose liner types Alphaliner500G and Alphaliner1800H offer very high mechanical properties. They can be used in all common pipe profiles (circular, egg, box and special profiles). Individual lengths of up to more than 350 m are possible in order to minimise the impact on road traffic during the installations works. All Alphaliners are available either with incorporated protective gliding foil or incorporated Preliner to reduce installation times to a minimum.
RELINEEUROPE offers the Alphaliner500 G for small and medium pipe cross sections. This liner type is the most economically favourable system for application in damaged host pipes with dimensions from 140 mm up to 500 mm diameter.
Over recent years, the demand for No-Dig rehabilitation of culverts has increased significantly. Meanwhile, diameters up to 2,000 mm are also being rehabilitated using UV-light curing GRP lining systems. The choice for rehabilitation of large profiles is therefore the Alphaliner1800H, which is designed for maximum structural load capacity. The Alphaliner1800H is the UV-light curing GRP hose liner with what is claimed to be the highest mechanical characteristics worldwide. It offers a Young’s modulus of 19,062 MPa (short-term value according to BS EN 11296-4) or 15,947 MPa (long-term, 50 years, value according to DIN EN 1228).
Due to this continuous development and improvement of the mechanical characteristics, it is possible to reduce the liner wall thicknesses requested by the host pipe condition as well as from the liner design requirements. The reduction of the liner wall thickness leads to various advantages including: it allows a faster and secure curing; the weight of the liner drops and allows for easier installation as well as the pulling with lower tensile forces, combined with reduction of any liner damage during the installation works.
RELINEEUROPE’s powerful UV curing system has been developed after years of experience in the industry. The process includes hardening assistance software systems, ensuring light intensity is used as efficiently as possible, allowing precise irradiation power for fast curing. A variety of light sources are available with outputs between 4,000/6,000 and 12,000/24,000 Watts for diameters between 140 mm and 2,000 mm.
Additionally, the further development in the UV curing technology with application of up to 6 x 4,000 Watts UV-light intensity, means that it is also possible to cure GRP hose liner with very large wall thicknesses with pure UV-light. As several installation partners have already demonstrated with the renovation of large profiles, the REE4000 UV system from RELINEEUROPE enables the curing of wall thicknesses up to 22.5 mm without the addition of peroxide (conventional combination curing).
