For more than two decades ProKASRO has stood for progressive pipe rehabilitation systems. As a market leader, many tailor-made pipe and sewer rehabilitation solutions have been created like UV curing equipment ranging from DN 150 to DN 2000 as well as pneumatic, electric and hydraulic robots, laminated cap (top hat) placement systems and resin injection equipment. On the stand at No Dig Live Peterborough, the company will exhibit its well-known electric robots 1.7 and 4.0 together with its powerful UV jumbo core 6 x 1000 W for diameters up to 2,000 mm.
Besides these components Prokasro will also showcase a new development for water mains, The KASRO Pipedock. In 2020 ProKASRO entered into a collaboration with the Hawle Austria group. Hawle developed a new type of fitting that can be installed with the ProKASRO Pipedock, requiring very little excavation whilst maintaining the integrity of CIPP linings. It can also be used in PE pipes and linings.
For the installation on water mains, only a small pit or keyhole is needed. No T-pieces and end seals are required. After lining, a hole is drilled through the pipe and lining into which the Pipedock inserts the Hawle fitting. Durable water tightness is achieved with an internal sealing system on the sophisticated fitting that also protects the laminate of CIPP linings.
For the installation of service valves on the fitting, a series of tools are available, facilitating a non-man entry mounting from the road surface. The fitting comes with a thread or a Hawle quick connection system to enable an easy connection to common service valves or other fittings.
