Minicam presents The Proteus LAT150. A mechanism that can inspect lateral pipes up to 45 m in length and has an overall crawl distance of up to 350 m. The innovative launch mechanism can be adjusted and serviced on-site, minimising operators’ downtime and reducing running costs for the business.
The Proteus LAT150 has 8×8 wheel drive, keeping inspections moving through debris and potential obstructions in the pipe. A hinged mid-section on the tractor allows for easy access into smaller manholes and runs in mainlines from 150 mm diameter and up.
The class-leading pan and rotate camera is less than 50 mm in diameter and includes twin lasers, this provides accurate pipe diameter, defect, and object measurements every time.
The company designs its own products with the user in mind, operating its equipment is simple. Servicing products is fast and cost-effective at MiniCam’s dedicated Northern and Southern service centres.
