FJBP proudly participated in SMAGUA in March. SMAGUA, Spain’s leading water and wastewater trade fair, has been a prominent biennial event in Zaragoza, since its inception in 1975, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. The 2023 edition attracted over 27.000 professional visitors from 52 countries.
With both an indoor exhibition stand and an outdoor demonstration area, JBP reaffirmed its position as a key player in trenchless technology and pipeline rehabilitation solutions.
A dynamic indoor stand showcasing cutting-edge solutions
JBP’s 40m² indoor booth was a hub of innovation, featuring a comprehensive display of its products and technologies.
Visitors had the opportunity to explore an extensive range of solutions, including patch repair materials, UV-cured CIPP samples, Quick-Lock systems, cutting robots, UV-LED equipment and specialized materials for small-diameter pipelines.
Industry professionals from across Spain and neighbouring countries – including Portugal, France, and Italy – visited the stand, engaging in insightful discussions with the JBP team about the latest advancements in pipeline rehabilitation.
Live Demonstrations: Bringing technology to life
JBP took its presence at SMAGUA a step further with a dedicated 66m² outdoor demonstration area, in collaboration with its business partner, BKP Berolina.
Throughout the three-day event, JBP showcased live demonstrations of the UV-curing system for CIPP liners.
Seeing technology in action makes all the difference. Attendees witnessed the full installation and curing process of the BKP liner, gaining hands-on insight into its efficiency and reliability. The outdoor demonstrations attracted a diverse audience, from experienced contractors already utilizing CIPP technology to industry newcomers eager to explore its potential.
Expert contributions at IbSTT conference
As part of JBP’s active engagement at SMAGUA 2025, our Sales Manager, Markus Persson, attended the Iberian Trenchless society’s (IbSTT) conference programme, where he presented a compelling paper on “Vertical Pipe Rehabilitation Using the Latest Technologies on the Market.” His insightful presentation was met with great interest and enthusiasm from a large audience of industry professionals, highlighting JBP’s leadership in advancing trenchless solutions.
Looking ahead: JBP’s upcoming exhibition
SMAGUA 2025 marked the first major event of the year for JBP, but the company’s commitment to industry engagement continues.
In May, JBP will take part in Trenchless Asia in Kuala Lumpur, where it will serve as both Platinum Sponsor and Training Partner. At this prestigious event, JBP will not only exhibit its cutting-edge solutions but also deliver an Applied Trenchless Technologies Workshops program, reinforcing its dedication to education and innovation in trenchless technology.
JBP remains at the forefront of the industry, providing high-quality solutions and expertise to professionals worldwide.
