The ISTT held its annual board meeting on the 16 November 2020 which, instead of being held during the planned International NODIG Show in Kuala Lumpur, was held online. There was an impressive turnout especially considering the time zones for some countries meant the meeting was held in the early hours of the morning!
The main points coming from the meeting were the development of several working groups that the ISTT has established to develop online and practical training, International shows and conferences and social media engagement. The working groups will provide the affiliated societies additional benefits and support in the trenchless world. As these develop the UKSTT will keep everyone updated.
The ISTT board of directors was increased from 10 to 11 in line with its terms of association where the affiliated societies now have a greater responsibility for the functioning of the Society. Ian Ramsay, vice chair of the UKSTT, was elected to serve on the board of the ISTT.
