IMS Robotics’ latest in robotic cutting at No-Dig Live

IMS Robotics UK Ltd will proudly be showcasing the latest in robotic cutting and UV Curing innovations at this years No Dig Live Exhibition at Peterborough from Tuesday 13th September to Thursday 15th September.

Accompanied by colleagues from IMS Robotics Head Quarters in Germany, IMS Robotics UK Ltd will be displaying and demonstrating the latest range of robotic cutters such as the new DN75-250 MICRO S automatic and the DN150-600 DRIVEplus and, as a second cutting robot carriage, the DRIVE 4 system.

The DN75-250 MICRO S automatic builds upon the solid reputation of the already well-established MICRO range of robotic cutters. These extremely flexible systems offer a much slimmer cutting module than the standard MICRO range (60mm as opposed to 72mm) offering excellent flexibility in pipe bends (90 degrees in DN100) and also offers a cutting head with endless 360 degree rotation. Other features of the system include an automatic climbing and creeping function, a 50mtr supply hose with integrated push rod and an inbuilt mini pc with software included for jobsite reporting

The DN150-600 DRIVEplus is one of the latest mainline cutting devices to be added to the IMS Robotics range. Equipped with two interchangeable air motors, the DRIVEplus offers a cable reel of up to 150mtrs, a driven carriage with an outer diameter of just 135 mm, integrated positioning sensors and a swivelling camera with LED lighting. Other features of the system include a meter counter, a back-eye camera and water lens cleaning equipment. As a second option the control unit of the DRIVEplus can connect to the DRIVE 4 that is even slimmer as it is based on the well-established and proven DRIVE 2 model and its sizes.

Also on display for the first time in the UK market will be some of the latest innovations on UV curing on offer from IMS Robotics UK Ltd. This will include the DN150-16000 UV 12000 compact curing system built into a dedicated truck and the newly launched DN75 -300 UV LED system, that IMS has just started to promote under the brand name MICROcure.

The UV 12000 UV curing system enables trenchless rehabilitation of main sewers with nominal diameters up to DN1600 and is compatible with different light sources which are selected according to the size of the main sewer and have an output of 12 x 400 to 12 x 1000 watts. The system installed in the vehicle consists of a 180mtr cable drum, curing cable, an integrated ignition system and an integrated control system. All data relevant to the curing process is also recorded.

The newly launched DN75-300 MICROcure system is a house connection LED curing system. Capable of negotiating 90-degree bends in DN100 relined pipes, the MICROcure system consists of two LED light sources (LED head 400 watts and LED double head 800 watts) a 70mtr cable drum, a control panel with monitor and curing software plus a retraction unit. The route, amperage, temperature, internal pressure and speed are all recorded with downloading of the curing protocol possible via USB. Pre-installed on the device is a remote maintenance feature enabled via WiFi hotspot.

IMS Robotics UK Ltd will also showcasing other new products available within the IMS Robotics Group of companies and partners. These include a complete range of cutting tools from KARDIAM GmbH and a range of inversion drums and accessories from Hurricane Trenchless Technologies GmbH.

The whole IMS Robotics team look forward to welcoming you to No Dig Live 2022 on indoor stand 117 and outdoor stand 33A!
